I’m so glad you’re here!  This is a space to share my love for yoga and meditation with you.  I use yoga and meditation as tools to bring vibrancy to my life experience and the lives of my clients.  I’m passionate about sharing these tools with you!

Training & Life Experience

I’m a trained 200 hour Kripalu yoga teacher and have been teaching since early 2013.  I bring more than 10 years of yoga practice to my teaching.  Using intuitive guidance, I blend different styles of yoga to lead a compassionate, soul loving experience.

Why I Teach

When I started, I hated yoga.  I was busy beating my body into the ground, trying to force it to lose as much weight as possible so I could finally be happy (I later realized this was no road to happiness).  Yoga was too slow, I felt that it didn’t burn enough calories, and worst of all I was “bad” at it.  I forced myself to go to class once a week because it felt so.damn.good.  After a while I started to really love yoga, but I only allowed myself one class a week so as not to waste calorie burning opportunities with more intense cardio and weight lifting.

I once told my favorite yoga teacher that yoga felt “too luxurious” to practice every day.  I don’t remember exactly what she said, but it started me thinking; maybe it would be okay to practice yoga every day and experience that delicious feeling of life every day.  Slowly I started to practice more yoga and dropped the weights and grueling cardio sessions.  I realized that yoga could challenge my body and keep me in shape (when my body wanted a challenge), that it was more than okay to drop into a gentle practice (when my body was asking for it), and it taught me more about myself than anything else ever had.  I learned to love myself.

When I became a Mom, my life was turned upside down.  Things I thought I knew about myself and what I wanted changed.  I found myself second guessing every single decision I made as a parent.  I looked to parenting “experts” for my answers and became very confused since there were opposite opinions for every parenting topic; each vehemently proclaiming their correctness.  I wanted the best for my baby and had a hard time choosing which side was “right”.  After a few months, I slowly came to realize that all I had to do was connect to my internal guidance system.  I used yoga and meditation to help me come back to my intuition and make parenting decisions from a place of peace.  My experience of being a Mom while deeply connected to my intuition has lit up my world.  I have more energy.  I’m happier.  I feel connected.

I want to help bring vibrancy to your life!  Your family and the world needs you at your best and feeling good.
